At Bronx Gardens, we take a person-centered approach to the care we provide, placing the needs and preferences of the individual above all else.
Welcome to Bronx Gardens. Welcome to Citadel.

Hello Autumn! We hope you are all adjusting to the life changes Fall brings.  It was certainly an eventful September here at Bronx Gardens. So, what have our residents been up to since we caught up last? Well…

Our residents are taking advantage of the slight drop in temperature and venturing outside for some fresh air!

Our Fresh Air Group resumed weekly meetings where residents and workers come together to sit outside and strike up a conversation. Many residents opt to take a walk along our beautiful outside garden for some added exercise.

Residents were visited by our mobile library!

There’s nothing better than curling up with a good book on crisp Fall nights, and we’re proud to make reading accessible to our residents by carrying large-print books. Mystery thrillers are a huge hit! We will definitely be restocking before the next visit.

We kept the fun going with Karaoke – 90’s addition! Staff members took the stage, serenading our center with “I will always love you,” by Whitney Houston. We were impressed!

But, the best day of the month? Grandparents Day!

“Grandparents are a delightful blend of laughter, caring deeds, wonderful stories, and love.”

Residents were reunited with grandchildren close and far. Our staff proudly watched laughter and smiles spread across generations. Families played table games, looked at old photos, and made plans for their loved one’s safe return home.

There’s no better feeling than watching families reconnect. Our top priority at Bronx Gardens is rehabilitating our residents so they can return home and be surrounded by a life filled with love, laughter, and grandchildren.

Wishing you and your family a healthy and safe Autumn,

Bronx Gardens.
